Ribs Recordings takes its name from the albums copied onto discarded X-Ray films in the postwar Soviet Union. With popular music having been deemed contraband, this ‘music on bones’ gave a way for it to be nonetheless exchanged and listened to on the black market, prior to the audio cassette tape.
This blog hopes to be its own advent/metaphorical rib for recording thoughts, musings and experiences.
